In House Tool Room

Our in house tool room allows us to repair, clean, and perform routine maintenance on all of the molds in our facility. This cuts down on delay time, keeps the high quality of the molds, and allows for guaranteed efficient repairs of molds.

Local Delivery

B & B Molded Products, Inc. uses our own 24 foot box truck to deliver locally within a 70 mile radius of our facility in Napoleon, Ohio. Our local delivery will ensure fast, efficient, and on-time delivery to your business.

Assembly

Press Side: B & B Molded Products, Inc. takes the time to understand your application to know if there are actions being done on your product that we can do during the cycle of machines. We automate as much of the process as we can to assure 100 % compliance to your quality standard.

Secondary: We have a 5,000 square foot assembly facility where we can assemble product as a sub assembly, as well as finished product that is ready to ship to your customer.

Welding

Sonic: Sonic welding can easily be customized to fit the exact needs of our customers’ specifications. To allow the two pieces to weld together one of the materials will have a raised energy director that creates contact between the two pieces. The energy created in this process melts the two parts together. Sonic welding is much faster than using traditional methods such as snap-fit designs, glue, or screws.

Hot Plate: Hot plate welding uses a heated platten to melt two halves of part together. Once a predetermined time is in place the halves are connected to a specifically heated platten. As soon as the two parts are melted together a strong permanent bond is formed. Hot plate welding is very strong and can be done with both large and complex parts.

Spin Welding: Spin welding uses friction between a stationary part and a mobile (spinning) part to create enough heat for the parts to weld together. Spin welding is very fast, efficient, and has high quality results.

Vibration Welding: Vibration welding happens in less than a second, and involves two parts rubbing their surfaces together for an established period of time. This time period is the exact amount of time needed for enough heat to be formed so the parts melt together. Vibration welding is very time efficient and allows for both complex and large parts to be used in the process.

Bonding

Chemical: Chemical bonding is the process of adhering parts together by using a chemical adhesive.

Insert Molding

B & B Molded Products, Inc. has a number of items that are insert molded (metal and overshoot). We mold plastic over brass, powdered metal, and steel. We also offer the option of molding plastic over plastic.

Decorating

Hot Stamping: Hot stamping is used in our assembly line. We first lay out a die that is mounted and heated, next we position the material below a ribbon of foil, and then the combination of heat, time, and pressure allow a stamp to be placed on a material.

Pad Printing: Pad printing transfers an image from a pad onto a 3-dimensional object. First ink is placed on a pad that is then picked up by our machine and moved over the top of a product. The pad is then pressed onto the product to transfer the ink. The resulting product has a high quality stamp of the image on its surface.

Robotics

B & B Molded Products, Inc. has spent the last 7 years adding robotics to a number of our presses. The state-of-the-art robots guarantee the consistent cycle times of our machines, and enable us to be more competitive in labor utilization.

Quality Policy: It is our policy to continuously strive to surpass our customers' expectations by providing quality parts that are competitively priced.
